Our team aims to make series of storybooks that illustrate SDGs in fun and easy way for children.
Each member in our team grew up in different countries, and met each other in college.
When we learned about SDG (Sustainable Developmental Goals), we thought if we learned about it earlier, and
if more children
would get to know about it while they are young, it would be helpful to grow as a global citizens.
Picture books are the easiest and most colorful way for a child to experience the world as a child.
It is also a fact that many studies have shown that it develops various abilities of a child such as
comprehension, empathy, and vocabulary,
and although digital devices are developed these days, the importance of picture books remains: it can be
turned over pages by hand, touched, and read.
Currently, there are no textbooks or tools for children of young ages on the market yet in Korea.
Therefore, through this series, we dream of helping children to be a global citizen and leader like Greta
Thunbury, a teenager who continued her activities as an environmental activist.
The SDG picture book we are planning provides an opportunity for children as well as adults to easily read
and think about sustainable development goals.
Currently, we are in process of printing sample versions and making minor edits.
